Commissioned for the 75th Anniversary of the Genevans, the student choir of Geneva College, Beaver Falls Pennsylvania, Oh Sing To The Lord A New Song is a setting of the complete text of Psalm 98 and has become a staple of their repertoire, sung as part of their 2013 through 2017 tours and concert seasons, and has been recorded on two of their CDs. In September 2016 the incoming president of Geneva College, Dr. Calvin L. Troup, requested the piece be sung as part of his inauguration celebration during Homecoming Weekend.
